How much does it cost to paint a house? Every house is different, and there is no set price to paint a house. It will depend on a variety of things from quality specifications, to preparation, to paint colour. A house can cost anything from $2500.00 to $50,000 Do you have public liability insurance? Yes! We have public liability insurance cover of $5,000,000. This ensures total peace of mind for our customers. Do you offer pension discounts? Yes! If you have a SuperGold Card, you pay no GST on labour, paint, or any materials. Why don't you use sub-contractors? Before any new employee starts working for Craig the Painter, they are thoroughly screened. They are then required to sign a strict code of conduct which deals with the ethics in which we follow and believe in. We deal with any breach of these ethics very seriously, and it is for this reason we do not hire other businesses to perform our work. What time do you normally start in the morning? Normally we start at 8am, and finish around 5pm. However this varies depending on any deadline, or the customers requirements. Why do you not do "tidy ups", for rentals for example? We are committed to achieving quality work every time. We also believe that doing a quality job the first time makes the next time five times as easy. While we understand the philosophy of rental properties and minimum investment when it comes to upkeep, it is our experience that quailty workmanship attracts better tenants. While there are systems that may reduce the overall price, our aim remains to produce quality. What makes you so unique from any other painting contractor? There are three main things that make Craig the Painter unique. 1. Craig the Painter is the only known company in New Zealand that has a service designed to teach its customers our trade. In-Home DIY Coaching 2. Our service. Unlike any other painting company in New Zealand, the customer is able to custom design the service style they want or require. From the way we wear our uniform, to the way we place our drop sheets on the floor. What service you receive in totally in your hands. 3. Our motives. Our motives are without doubt the most unique in New Zealand. While obviously we seek to make a profit to put food on our table like any other business, our prime motive is based on charity, and to build up communities and make a positive difference in the lives of the people who live in the communities we serve, with sponsorships, community days, special projects, and positive youth programmes. Why do you charge so little for your paint, and does this mean it is of a lesser quality? We use only the very best products of various brands. Since we started business, it has been one of the little perks we offer our customers.
